TOSSING COOKIES IN BEANTOWN
One if by land, two if by sea - your intrepid President arrived safely in Boston Tuesday night around 6:15. After navigating a shuttle bus, three subway lines and a 5 block walk, the wife and I were whisked off to a favorite diner by her cousin. There I promptly tossed my cookies (- or is it beans since we're in beantown?).
Either way I spent the rest of the night recovering in the b&b... fortunately I knew it is a short-lived virus passed onto me by the kids - so today I am up and at 'em.
Nothing designy to report yet - just a lot of walking. A lot - like 10 miles. Visited the zany Isabella Gardner Museum, then enjoyed some Italian for lunch on the north end, followed by gelato and espresso. Looking forward to more eating tonight after a short siesta.
