I first heard the idea from Stefan Sagmeister in November of 2000 when he came to visit Chattanooga. In one of our many meaningful meandering conversations, he dropped a tidbit that hit me like a tidal wave: he said that he only presented one finished idea to the client.

Joseph’s notes from the AIGA NEXT conference

Paul,
Denver is/has been beautiful.
Wish you could be here to share the experience.
I have lots to share– mainly just my random adventures while walking around and driving to Vail.
(I had the most amazing beer at this place called Pints Pub)

A Trip Down Memory Lane

I so enjoyed viewing Michael Beirut's portfolio from his college years on the DesignObserver blog that I thought it might be fun for somebody if I share mine. Now I am the first to admit that I am no Michael Beirut — I am not and never will be anything like a talent like his — but I thought that perhaps for that very reason, my BFA design portfolio might have even more entertainment value.
